Roe buck hunt starts from June 1st and ends on the last day of September. Then, starts the wood pigeon hunt and here in Gascony it’s sacred!
We manage to do 2 outings per day, one at the sunrise and the other at the sunset, it means more or less 2 and half hours per outing. You can choose hunting methods: stalking ,approaching against the wind being as silent as possible to avoid alerting the Roe buck, but it is also possible to choose high-seat with tree stands strategically located and wait for the Roe to approach.
Our South-West region is famous as well for the quality than for the number of animals. On top of roe buck, we could hunt fox and on some territories wild boar.
Bow hunters will have more autonomy to offer them to practice this beautiful and demanding hunt with a maximum discretion.
